What to Buy This Christmas

'Tis the season to PUT THE WORK IN

As the year’s end approaches, and we begin to reflect on the success or failures of our last 12 months, many of us will most likely feel a great deal of dissatisfaction with where we currently are as opposed to where we could be. This may feel like a bad thing, however it sets us up for what is to come with a hunger and drive to better ourselves, and most importantly, provides us with a purpose to pursue and fulfil. 

Now as with anything we hope to achieve, it is vitally important to set goals to do so, both short and long-term, and as we know at this time of year the vast majority of people will look to set one big goal for the upcoming year known as their ‘New Years Resolution’. 

The above chart shows that the top two New Year’s Resolutions are to do with getting healthier and getting more exercise, which is great. It shows that people are acknowledging the importance of regular exercise and correct nutrition to their overall physical and mental well-being.

What isn’t so great is that the majority of people that set these goals, set them without true conviction. They set a goal so intangible that they get discouraged after a month or so and give up. This is mostly down to their inexperience, and ignorance towards what it truly takes to get the body they want. These people do however have to start somewhere, and that somewhere is usually January 1st.
